Hi Loves,
This tutorial was requested by my gorgeous sister in law. She was telling me how she always has the hardest time trying to do a winged cat-eye eyeliner. So I was inspired to make a tutorial to show my technique. I hope this helps many of you as well. Hi @Emma,
Thank you so much for your comment. When selecting a foundation it’s important to know first and foremost what is causing the acne flare-ups. Is the acne active or post scarring? Sometimes it’s a common mistake to use too much product to conceal, rather than using the appropriate product. It’s also important to know if your product is contributing to the flare-ups. You’ll want something that soothes your skin and helps repair itself. I’d love to know your daily routine and products you are currently using. Washing your face at night to remove makeup will help, using something with a salicylic acid is great for assisting with preventing acne breakouts.
It’s also important to make sure you are working with sterile products that are no older than 6 months and if you are using applicators and brushes to apply, make sure you are thoroughly cleansing them each week to prevent bacteria growth.
You might be happy to know that MintPear is in the process of launching a cruelty-free, organic, gluten free, fragrance free and paraben free cosmetic line! So, of course I’m going to recommend our line, because there is a lot of time and research going into creating the absolutely best product for your skin. You can expect our cosmetic line to launch early fall this year. For the time being, I would recommend trying to use Cover FX as a foundation ( I found mine at Ulta), it’s beautiful and creates flawless coverage. I would love to know what you think and if you have any more questions, please let me know! :*
What is a good foundation for someone with a bad case of acne to use for blackhead cover up and scar cover up?
@Heidi VL, believe it or not, it was filmed live. My trick, is to use eyelashes that fit my lash line well, apply good quality glue, allow a few seconds to dry before you apply them to your lashes and makes sure to press them into the correct place the first time. Once you move them around they don’t adhere as well. I would love to know if this technique works for you… Please keep me updated. Maybe I can make a slower more detailed tutorial for the falsies. :)
Please tell me you did more than one take for those falsies! I have the hardest time! I’m an Esthetician as well and can put them on others like it’s nobody’s business….
